Custom Error Pages in Hosting
The custom error pages feature is available with each and every hosting plan that we offer and you will be able to swap all of the generic pages with your own with no more than just a few clicks in your Hepsia hosting CP. You will need to create the actual files and to upload them to your account, and then to set them for a particular domain or subdomain via the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP. You may do this for each site hosted inside the account independently, so that each set of personalized pages shall have the exact same layout as the website it's part of. If necessary, you can always go back to a default page from our system or to the default Apache server page. Another way to set personalized error pages is to create an .htaccess file in the domain/subdomain root folder and to include a few lines in it. If you have not done this before, you can simply copy the necessary program code from our Help article about this.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
Incorporating your own pages for any of the 4 error types to any Internet site hosted from a semi-dedicated server account with us will be very easy and shall not take more than a few mouse clicks. Once you upload the files to your account, you can go to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia Control Panel and edit any of the domains and subdomains listed there via an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You may select what page should show up for each and every error type. The choices are a default Apache server page or a page from our system, and custom pages. If you pick the aforementioned option, you will need to enter the link to every page in your account, then save the change. The link or the sort of page which appears if a user encounters an error can be changed anytime. If you are more experienced, you can use an .htaccess file to set tailor-made error pages too, as opposed to using our integrated generator software tool, and if you select this option, the file has to be located in the root directory of a specific domain or subdomain.
